Thursdays thrifting tip

If your new to thrift store shopping or want to start there is one thing to remember. Just because a piece of clothing is at a thrift store and is cheap does not mean you buy it! Be smart about what you buy even at thrift stores and sometimes that means you will walk out of a thrift store with nothing. But that's ok! Take this lovely sweater I found at a local thrift store recently. And no I did not buy it! So this sweater was only $2.99 but would be half off because all green tags were 50% off. The reason why this sweater caught my eye? SO many people were looking at it and talking about buying it! I wanted to yell STOP. DON'T DO IT across the store every time someone was looking at purchasing it! So ladies and gents please I implore you, don't buy an item at a thrift store just because it's cheap. Really consider if you will wear it, the shape, pattern and style before you buy it.

                                      (I don't get the eagle....Talk about INTERESTING.)

Ok now that all that's been said, here is another way you can sport red this valentines day. I love colored pants because it's an easy way to make a statement in your outfit. You could also throw on a pair of boots or heels to dress this outfit up for an evening look.

Outfit Details:
Pants: Kohl's
Chambray Shirt: Target
Sweater: TJ Maxx
Flats: Target but purchased at a thrift store for $1.00!
Necklace: Amazon: Last year I really wanted this statement necklace but I was not willing to pay $30 something for it. I was browsing Amazon and spotted it for $6.99!

Hope you all had a fabulous Thursday!
