Thrifting tip of the day

Happy Thursday! So last weekend I mentioned that I was browsing a few thrift stores and my goal was to find some work pants. Well I didn't find any but I did stumble upon this AMAZING pencil skirt! Yes, I am just a little excited about it!! It is a great piece because I can wear it to work or dress it down for a casual weekend.
The print pulled at me the moment I spotted it and guess what....It is new! Yep the tags are still on it. See thrift store shopping is not all that bad! I scored it for only $5.99 at Goodwill. Doesn't get much better then that!
Ok, so now for my thrifting tip. Thrift store shopping is not like shopping at a department store at all! Yes, I know that sounds self explanatory but its a big reason why people don't like to thrift store shop. If you walk into a thrift or second hand store and expect to find the "perfect" pair of jeans or that blazer you have always wanted, you will be disappointed. When you thrift shop you don't always find what you want right away. It can be a hunt but if you are willing to stick it out the end result is worth the prize! Along the way you will find some great pieces as well! So the point of my rambling is, don't give up. Great pieces can be found in very size!
